Hey there, friends! I can’t believe it’s already Boxes For Christmas Cookies week! While I finish up my gifts, I’m half-watching The Grinch and daydreaming about my later Domino’s date with my boyfriend. I’m here to tell you about a very important thing on my Holiday Bucket List: my boxes for christmas cookies I’ve been thinking about and working on these for months, so I’m really happy to finally share this post! I’m glad I finally had time to give these as gifts this year; I loved the whole process! What a thrill it is to give them to loved ones and hear which ones they like best! I really don’t see myself ever not making these again.I’m obviously very new to boxes for christmas cookies but if you want real-life ideas, check out Joy, Tieghan, Sam, and NYT Cooking. Here is a full list of all the cookies I put in my gift boxes, along with some helpful hints. Friends, I hope you love it!Also, keep in mind that I brought all of my boxes by hand, so I didn’t have to think about how to mail anything fragile.
How To Make A Good Boxes For Christmas Cookies
Your boxes don’t have to be exactly the same; that’s what makes it fun! It’s all about knowing your audience; every box I gave away had a different mix of cookies. One box had a lot of brown butter cookies but not many linzer. There were extra shortbread cookies but no Nutella cookies in another. Do you get what I mean?• Because that’s exactly what they were made for, biscuit tins work best for cookie boxes, but any container will do. As the year goes on, I slowly collect any tins that come my way. They are all different sizes and types.• If you make cookies often, use mostly the same materials. It will not seem like such a chore. For instance, the things I use to make my Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies with Pecans are a lot like the things I use to make my Pecan Linzer Cookies. Two birds with one stone!• Get as much done ahead of time as you can! Because cookie dough freezes so well, there’s no reason not to make it ahead of time.• Try to bring a wide range of things in your boxes. I had big plans to make eight or more kinds of cookies before I started baking. I quickly gave up on that idea and decided on four: a flaky, a gooey, a standard, and a chocolate.

They’re so rich and buttery that it would be wrong for me not to put them in my boxes for christmas cookies I added homemade vanilla sugar to some boxes to make them a little different from the others.LINZER COOKIES WITH PECANS One of the first holiday recipes I ever shared was for pecan linzer cookies. I changed the recipe and took new pictures of the cookies since then, but they taste the same. It would be great with jam or Nutella instead of the homemade toffee I used on mine.
